MainTenant

For the past two days I have been attending Peggy Baker's Summer Intensive Workshop, thing-er.
And so far it was been, oh what do I like to call it not life changing, but Transforming.
The days go something like this:
Yoga first thing, with this amazing teacher, he is brilliant melding many different practices mostly concentrating on connecting to the inner line of the body, or the core. (interesting fact he mentioned today - the word for core of an apple in french is la/le? coeur de la pomme - the heart of the apple)
After yoga I am off to Technique class with Peggy. where she delves into Movement, with an enfaces more on the relationship and orientation of space inside and outside.
After Lunch we have our Creative class, where we get to apply questions to dance pieces we have created or are working on. Kinda like being in the lab experimenting.
At the end of the day I can go to Irene Dowd (sp?) neuro-muscular sequencing or another Yoga class. So far I have done one of each, depends on what my body needs.
Quote of the day from Peggy: "The worst thing you can do to music, is count it"
I m still in experiencing this workshop, for i m only in day 2 of 6, but do not worry I am almost half way through a journal so all in due time.

Now back to greece.
exert from green journal, from day two of training:
" this word CHANGE
to adapt
to alture
to develope
to grow
to transform
to transition
to evolve
the ascend
You are constantly transforming, Always in motion, moving
the flow of breath guides the body
Experience How do You experience the world? what makes you happy?
How are you different everyday?"

Interesting Day two of the yoga experience, brought up many of the same concepts as did today, day two of dance workshop...

oh I titled this blog MainTenant for I was planning on discussing this new theory....
I feel this blog is long enough and i m sleepy so i will go into that another time. Don't worry I won't forget! - for hey its written down
