anyways I digress for this is a topic for another time, I m certain in the future I will dedicate a many blog to father time.
It has truly been wonderful since I have been back in (Oh!) Canada...
My very beautiful and inspiring friend Jae, {or should i give her a gnome de plume... (Jae i hope your fine with me using your real name - or audience am I just pretending I didn't change her name...you will Never know!)} from my University days came for a visit! She was my very first visitor to come stay and stay with me at Primo Dela Fonté ( the name of the apartment Daphné and i share)
The three nights that Jae stayed were amazing (i wish she were here longer - Jae you are welcome back ANYtime). I finally had the opportunity to explore this great city I live in. She even let me lead her in a couple yoga classes. I learned so much practicing with her.
On the afternoon of Jae's departure I traveled by greyhound to a cottage on Kosh Lake ( in Ontario's cottage country). One of my best friends from High-school (Danica Kell - doesn't she has the name of a singer/songwriter?)'s aunt and uncle own a beautiful cottage on this gorgeous lake. I spent the weekend relaxing on the dock, participating water sports and singing & dancing. I completely understand why this is Danica's favourite place on earth.
I had the opportunity to lead yoga for her family and friends. It was great for some of the yogis were first timers. We practiced on the deck of the cottage overlooking the lake. :)
Today I returned to Toronto and Tomorrow I start a week long contemporary dance workshop with Peggy Baker ( a canadian contemporary dance icon!), talk about being in Constant Motion.
This is defiantly shaping up to be the most wonderful summer of all time. (Go 2011!)
Here is an exert from my very bright green non lined coil journal [#1] from Greece.
July 2nd (the day before flying to Kytheria)
"I give myself permission to be 100% myself from the very start. I will grow and be inspired every moment. I must be open to both absorb and expand. I can't Wait. This is a life changing Adventure."
note: since returning from Greece, when someone asks me how it went, my response has been, " it was life changing" I guess I was right :D
Namaste - Sat nam
It was so lovely having you up Kar! Can't wait to continue our glorious summer when we're both back in BC!!!
