Matilda and I are relaxing in the sun. Reading, listening to music, soaking in the sweet rays. Laundry dries in the breeze.
This summer has truly been wonderful. I adore our new home, I was able to get back to SaskToon, get a job out here, do yoga, and spend a copious amount of time in the beautiful sunshine. This summer has been as sunny as my summer in Greece!
I had planned to go back this summer, to Greece, and travel around Europe. But instead I was invited to dance with a professional dance company in Vancouver. This apprenticeship begins on August 16th a mere week and a day away. I am ver excited and extremely nervous about this new experience. This is truly a dream come true about to happen. I remember the first time I saw this dance company preform in the first semester of my first year of university. I thought to myself, I want to dance in that company one day. And the time has almost arrived. :D
As an apprentice I will be under studying all the dancers parts. That's 18 different people's choreography I will know. 65 hours in the studio in three weeks. I can wait!
